Corporate Rates
C&T is an associate of Carlson Wagonlit, one of the world's largest travel management partnerships. Through Carlson, preferred hotel and car rates can be secured for your company. C&T travel consultants will guide you in hotel and car rental selection to secure the best prices.

When checking in at a hotel, travelers should identify company affiliation, inquire to see if a less expensive rate has become available, and verify room rate at this time to avoid confusion at check-out.

C&T will assist you in obtaining discounted hotel and car rates specific to your corporation. The volume of business generated by your company will determine the rate level.

Guaranteed Arrival
Unless otherwise advised, C&T guarantees all hotel reservations for late arrival. This means that a hotel agrees to hold a room as late as necessary for a traveler's arrival. In order to provide this service, arrangements are made to pay the hotel for any no-shows.

If for any reason the traveler changes or cancels a hotel reservation, C&T or the hotel itself must be advised by 4:00 pm (local time of hotel) to prevent no-show charges from being assessed. Some hotels have a more stringent cancellation policy. C&T will advise you when an early cancellation is required.

If the reservation is canceled directly with the hotel, it is important to secure either a cancellation number or the full name of the hotel employee with whom the reservation was canceled, along with the date and time of cancellation.

Hotel "Walk" Policies
Upon occasion, a hotel will oversell their rooms and a traveler may be advised that there are no available rooms at the hotel--even though there is a confirmed reservation. If the reservation was "guaranteed," that is secured by a credit card number, advance deposit or agency guarantee, compensation is usually provided. This compensation may include guaranteed transportation to and the first night's lodging at an alternate hotel. Travelers confronted with a walk situation should ask if the hotel has a walk policy and what compensation the policy will provide.

Rental Car Rates/Reservations
When booking a car reservation, C&T will advise the pickup and return dates, flight number, time of arrival, desired car size or type, and ID number if applicable. If questions arise at the counter, travelers should refer to the confirmation number on the itinerary. C&T will intervene on behalf of the traveler when a renal rate is in question.
