Booking ProceduresBooking
with a C&T Travel Consultant
Each C&T Travel Consultant is equipped
with a computer reservation system which offers complete airline schedule
information and immediate confirmation of most domestic and
international flights. Reservations for hotels and rental cars can
also be requested through our computer system. Since the computer
accepts information in sequential order, information should be given
to the reservation agent in the following order:
- Caller's (your) name and company
affiliation
- Indicate whether you are making a
new reservation, changing an existing reservation or simply
requesting information.
- The name of the traveler.
- The desired travel arrangements: Air
(including flexibility to use discount fares)/Automobile
Rental/Lodging.
- Airline Reservations
- If you are calling for flight
information, please use the following format:
- Date
- Departure city
- Destination city
- Approximate Time of Desired
Arrival
The travel consultant can either
verbally give you flight information or send you a
TravelSlate.
- If you are making a new reservation and you know the
specific airline(s) and flight number(s), please provide this
information in the following sequence.
- Airline
- Flight number
- Date of travel
- Departure city
- Destination city
- Car Rental
- Identify the car rental company and car size desired.
- Specify the pickup location, date, time, the number of days the
car will be needed, and the drop-off location
Please note: All rental car companies
require a
major credit card and a valid driver's license. Renters must be
25 years of age or older. (Some corporations have a "Young
Renter's Clause" which allows drivers 21 years of age to rent a
car).
- Hotel Reservations
- If known, please indicate the specific hotel and type of room
desired, number of nights and number of people occupying the room.
- If possible, please have alternate hotels in mind in the event
your original request is not available.
- All rooms are guaranteed for a
late arrival (unless otherwise advised), so be sure to cancel the
room if you later determine that it is not needed. This will avoid
the possibility of a no-show bill from the hotel.
